Job Description

We are looking for Middle/Senior Software Developers to join the Core Banking team at Shinhan Bank Vietnam. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Core Banking applications and related banking systems, ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance with banking regulations.The role will collaborate closely with business teams and project members to support both common banking modules and card-related services.

Core Banking Development
  • Maintain and enhance backend services of the Core Banking System.
  • Analyze and resolve bugs, incidents, and performance issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Perform database query tuning and optimize system performance.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation (design documents, API specifications, release notes).
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure development standards are followed.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver stable and secure solutions.
  • Submit progress reports and support issue tracking activities.
  • Comply with security policies and change management procedures.

  • Implement AML/CDD processes (transaction monitoring, screening, case management)
  • Manage customer data lifecycle (CIF creation, KYC, data validation, deduplication)
Card System Development
  • Develop and maintain card-related services and transaction systems.
  • Handle card lifecycle management: Issuance, Activation, Debit/Credit processing
  • Support transaction processing: Clearing, Settlement, Reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and international standards such as PCI DSS and ISO 8583.

    Technical Requirements
    • Experience in developing main services using C-based frameworks
    • Proficiency in building terminal/screen interfaces with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
